I’m delighted to see that David Cameron and George Osborne are visiting India. I went there at the beginning of the year and - rather presciently I think - wrote about how important it was that we establish closer ties with India. Sounds very similar to Dave’s article in today’s Guardian..! Since then, there has been an important Trade and Industry Select Committee report on the issue as well. It’s great to see that Dave’s visit has put the issue high up in the headlines, though it has been marred by what seems like the tragic death of an Indian woman who stepped into the path of the convoy.
