Only just came across your blog today, having seen the link from Iain Dale... which is sure to boost viewing figures!

Good work.

Someone said to me this week that your blog was boring, but I rather like it. Have revived mine after a lengthy break, but am getting window shoppers rather than real punters. Having the same worries about being boring. We are probably reaching blog saturation point, but, frankly, who cares? I find it rather theraputic.

I will post on yours, if you will post on mine - that can't be too bad a deal.

Anything is to get the RSS feed as a link on here somewhere. I rarely read blogs outside my Bloglines account as it's too much hassle to keep track of them all...

I read your blog, and I am one of your Didcot constituents. I actually use http://www.newsgator.co.uk to bring together all the blogs that I read. It would be even better if I could press a button and produce a newspaper so that I could read them on the long Didcot->Paddington train journey. (i.e. like www.feedjournal.com, but one that works!!). I guess this is what the future holds, and then I will be likely to read your blog with more frequency.

In the meantime keep up the good work.

Ed,

Leon is right, comments and links; it's the future, I've seen it!

Have a word with Dave and get yourself on his blogroll.

I only just noticed you had one. If you want to get more comments you need to get commenting on other blogs ask for recipricol links with them...

Hi Ed,

If you read the Telegraph today on blogging, you will have discovered that there are more people out there writing blogs than reading them, which I find somewhat galling since I thought I was so clever in starting up my own blog earlier this week... Still, if you are worried about the number of hits you are getting, you need to sign up for a stats service (e.g. www.mybloglog.com) and then you can see whether or not you are being read.

All the best

Looking at Guido's archives his blog had very few comments for the first 8-9 months. Iain Dale's blog is the same. And Danny Finkelstein over at Comment Central must get thousands of hits a day yet elicits hardly any comments. So you're in good company.
