Another Scot in charge of English affairs. Why the surprise that Westminster's Scottiish cabal appointed yet another Scot to mess up England?

It's no surprise to me. Nor millions of other long-suffering English.

I am guessing it must be a poison chalice then. As normally there would be no other reason for a Labour government to give a position to a Tory person. As they say keep your friends close and your enemies closer or as Labour would say "take all credit even if you haven't done anything but always ensure there is someone to blame". Expect for some difficult decisions to be needed to be made and if they work it will be thanks to Labour and if they don't it will be because of the interference of the Tory member.
