Oxfordshire Business Awards
I went to the Oxfordshire Business Awards on Friday night. IT’s been run for thirteen years by Stephen Dexter, one of my constituents, and is a major event. I go every year, as I think it is important to show support for the people who create the wealth that supports our area. I was pleased to see six businesses from my constituency - 3 Monkeys, Helveta, Regenatec, Vale & Downland Museum, the Old Station Nursery, and Omprompt - nominated for awards. Apart from Omprompt, I have visited every one. Even better, three of them won - 3 Monkeys, Regenatec and Omprompt. I think my constituency’s businesses are clearly making my area punch above its weight.
