Dumfries House - Saved?
The SNP’s first u-turn - campaigning to save Dumfries House, I was dismissed by SNP MPs - why would they spend money on that? Now, thanks mainly to the Prince of Wales, the House has been saved by money that includes £5 million from Historic Scotland. Alex Salmond got in on the act by getting a quote in the press release.

Yet again Alex Salmond has shown how something worthwhile and of benefit to the nation can be saved without the government having to fork out a fortune to save it. £5,000,000 from the Scottish Government is a steal compared to the sums campaigners were demanding from the SNP government. Why spend all the money yourself when you can get others to pay for it?

I hope the money didn’t come from English patients
