Faringdon Arts Festival
I was lucky enough to be asked to open the Faringdon Arts Festival this week end. It is an amazing event, four years old, started by a guy called David Reynolds, entirely run by volunteers who raise all the money that is needed. Over three days, there are concerts, exhibitions, poetry readings, a completely packed programme and a huge testament to the power of communities.
