Intercept Evidence

So, about three years after David Davis suggested it, the Government looks set to accept intercept evidence in court.  Makes the case for 42 days even weaker.

  1. No doubt it will have been presented as Labour’s idea, like the border police force, requiring MPs to disclose whether they employ family members, cutting police red tape, cutting inheritance tax, etc etc etc.

Labour are out of steam. Let’s get David Cameron into 10 Downing Street.

  2. Fine, so long as MPs don’t mind their conversations being bugged and admitted into evidence. There is no good reason why MPs are so privileged until you prove yourselves, as a collective, to be be capable of not leaking stories to the press, for example, when it suits.
