Was I wrong about Rom?

Hmmm, my far out prediction that Mitt Romney would be President by this time next year?  McCain seems to have got the big mo’ at the moment, but the fight has not yet been lost.  But I am preparing for a gracious admission of defeat on this one.  Not on Clinton versus Obama though.

  1. Were you wrong about Rom?

    Yes, thank goodness ;)

  2. Ed, We’ve been telling you for ages that Romney is weirdo - he stood no chance. Why don’t you listen to us?

Obama and Clinton - a virtual draw. Obama has gained hugely over the past month - and he’s still gaining the ‘mo’. Ed, his time has come. :) Give the man the respect he deserves.

I wonder why the Democrats can’t suggest a co-presidency? No, not Billary - I am talking about B-Rock and Hills. It makes sense.

McCain is far too old and feeble. His Barbie doll wife is apparently a bunny boiler too. Did you know that according to the papers she is an ex-drug addict? pill popper.

heheheheeee! call me childish - who cares?

    Go Obama!!!

Ed, why do you only post one paragraph about the Primaries? That’s lame blogging. Come on, you can do better than this!

  3. Ed, can you let me know what dates are good for you, re swap-a-job day? Mitt’s faith and perceived arrogance were always against him, but boy, Team Romney are a good-looking bunch, aren’t they?

Also, a lesson to Hillary - money can’t buy you love, though I was happy she won Massachusetts & California, giving the Kennedy’s the finger.

  4. Buh-bye, Mitt. Missing you already.

  5. Now we just need Hillary to quit…

    Go Obama :)

  6. Absolutely brilliant news - bye bye Mitt, nice seeing you go LOL

Ed - if you read this - just a quickie to say a HUGE thankyou for your help with hubby’s problem - it’s been resolved in our favour, and we are so grateful to you. Just found out the news today, and after a few stressful days, it is such welcome news. (Romney dropping out of the race came a close second!!)

Will email you to thank you properly when I can get to my own computer, but we moved into rented accommodation yesterday and still have loads of boxes to unload and loads of clutter to bin (or sell!!) And muscles that need to stop aching before I do any more activities

  7. Pleased to see an MP who gets things done :D I’ll let Ed off our bet since he obviously has better things to do with his time.

Note on Mitt - he’s not dropped out, he has ’suspended’ his campaign; I’ll take that to mean he’ll see if McCain snuffs it. Nice bloke.

  8. John Edwards has ’suspended’ his campaign as well. This means he can choose where his delegates go - I think.

I really think Ed should offer us more than a paragraph with his views on the US Primaries…

Obama is going strong. Many ‘Republicans’ have decided to support the Democrats this year becasue they are so fed up.

Hillary has met her match with Barack. And McCain certainly has. McCain will never become President. His pro war stance is deluded - and it proves just how out of touch he is with the general public. All McCain talks about is ‘war’ and the past.

    Go Obama!

  9. Ed, one person can make a difference.
